Why does consistency matter?

When I created my business plan I had one thing that I wanted to accomplish; help people. I have learned that it is no just helping someone learn about physical fitness. People are more than just their physical image. I get to help people physically and mentally. I am able to give people the tools to help them learn consistency and to be self sufficient. This week I have had the great opportunity to be able to witness the results.

I have worked with clients for a few years now, and a lot of client's original goal was to loose weight on the scale. After a few months of being consistent and working harder after every check in, the results present themselves. These results go beyond the scale. We have seen an increase in strength, endurance, patience, confidence, self-efficacy, and good food choices. We have been able to prove that when you work hard consistently to reach your goal, you get what you put into it.

This is why goal setting and consistency matter. If you set yourself up with a target you have something to work towards. Even if the results are not always easy to see like the weight on the scale. You are able to view progress in a not so linear fashion, but it is indeed progress. I am blessed to have all of the clients I do. I am thankful that I am able to be a part of these transformations.
